Certificate in Animal Behaviour

Introduction

The Certificate in Animal Behaviour provides students with enhanced, in-depthÌýtraining in animal behaviourÌýthrough a series of courses and aÌýresearch project.

Using concepts from behavioural biology and psychology, students who enrol will develop a deep understanding of the major forces that shape animal behaviour.

The Certificate consists ofÌýthree components

ÌýÌýÌý a)ÌýFour core required courses
ÌýÌýÌý b)Ìý12 credit hours of courses chosen from certificate electives
ÌýÌýÌý c)ÌýResearch project (3 or 6 credit hours)

Please note
Students should enroll in the certificate program during theirÌýthirdÌý´Ç°ùÌýfourthÌýyearÌýof studies. The certificate coordinator Simon Gadbois (simon.gadbois@dal.ca)
will enroll you in the programÌýwhen you seek approval of your research topic.
