Inspiring future leaders in health administration requires support and guidance from highly trained and experienced professionals in the healthcare industry. Recognizing the critical role of mentorship in training future leaders, in partnership with the School of Health Administration, the Alumni Association is excited to announce the launch of its 'Executive in Residence' program.
The position of Executive-in-Residence will be led by a senior Canadian health leader with a distinguished career of leading and achieving transformational change in the health care industry. The individual would be viewed by colleagues as a highly respected and visionary leader, whose career has embodied the values of mentoring leadership. The Executive- in-Residence will be uniquely positioned within the School to foster the professional growth and development of future leaders in the health sector. As a member of the School's Professional Advisory Council (PAC), the Executive-in- Residence will join an elite group of highly respected and accomplished health leaders, also offering valued and insightful counsel to the School.
It is our pleasure to announce the appointment of Mr. Robert Zed, President and CEO, Triangle Strategies, as the first Executive-in-Residence as of July 1st, 2013. The term of appointment will be typically two years; however the inaugural appointment will be a three-year term, to allow sufficient time to establish the position.
"I am honored to serve the school as its inaugural Executive in Residence" says Zed. "The 黄色直播 School of Health Administration has been at the forefront of change in the Canadian healthcare system and I look forward to working with our students, faculty and alumni to move the needle of our leadership agenda. Now more than ever, the value of relationships and networking plays an important role in the global healthcare scene and I look forward to assisting our emerging leaders with system navigation" noted Zed in a recent interview with the school.
As 'Executive-in-Residence', Robert will also join the Alumni Association Executive Committee as an ex-officio member. We look forward to working with Robert to continue our mission of advancing excellence in health leadership through mentorship, networking and lifelong learning opportunities.
