The Faculty of Health (Dal Health) isÌýone of the largestÌýand most complex Faculties at »ÆÉ«Ö±²¥, comprised of eight SchoolsÌý(Nursing, Social Work, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Health Administration, Health Sciences, Health & Human Performance, and Communication Sciences & Disorders), the College of Pharmacy, Clinical Vision Science Program, the Healthy Populations Institute, and the Centre for Collaborative Clinical Learning and Research (C3LR-CHEB).ÌýThe Faculty’s PhD in Health Program is unique within Canada.

Dal HealthÌýis one of the most programmatically diverse health faculties in the country; a nationally and internationally recognized leader in health research and scholarship. The Faculty has over 1,000 employees, more than 3,000 students, and offers 45 academic programs, diplomas and certificates at the entry, graduate and advanced professional levels.

The Faculty has strong partnerships with external bodies such as the Nova Scotia Health, IWK, Departments of Advanced Education and Health and Wellness, and also with other Faculties at »ÆÉ«Ö±²¥ and our community at large. Dal Health has over $10 million in active research grants, and over 27,000 alumni around the world. With a focus on interprofessional partnerships and collaborations both internally and externally, »ÆÉ«Ö±²¥â€™s Faculty of Health is a transformative leader in the regional, national and international health sphere.
