With a variety of medieval courses offered in ten disciplines including Classics, English, French, Music, Religious Studies, and Theatre, you can customize your minor to pique your interest, open doors, and awaken possibilities.

What you will learn

A Minor in Medieval Studies allows you to come to an understanding of a civilization as a whole. This area of study will offer you the ability to critically evaluate the use of the past in the present and dispel cultural misconceptions about the medieval and pre-modern world.

Eligibility

Requirements

Six credit hours in one of the following languages at or above the 2000 level: Arabic, Latin, Greek, French, German, Italian, or Spanish. Courses treating texts in translation do not count. For languages other than Latin and Green, courses taught in English do not count.
