Centre for Transformative Nursing & Health Research
(CTNHR) Lunch & Learn
Held twice monthly and available to students on site and by distance delivery.听 鈥═he sessions offer graduate students an opportunity to learn and discuss academic and professional issues with peers and faculty in a positive enriching environment. The content for the series is developed in collaboration with students and faculty members.
Canadian Child Health Clinician Scientist Program
The Canadian Child Health Clinician Scientist Program (CCHCSP) provides support for highly qualified child health clinician candidates to develop their requisite knowledge and skills for a career as an independent scientist in child health research. Trainees engage in research training and a core curriculum in one of the participating Child Health Research Training Centres of the CCHCSP.
Research training is supervised by a research mentor and advisory committee and is structured to facilitate excellence in research with an interdisciplinary focus. .

TUTOR-PHC
Graduate students from the School of Nursing have participated in the Transdisciplinary Understanding and Training on Research-Primary Health Care (TUTOR-PHC) program, a national training program focused on developing individual research skills and overall research capacity in primary health care fields.
Based at the University of Western Ontario, TUTOR-PHC is funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) and the Canadian Health Services Research Foundation (CHSRF).

JBI Centre of Excellence:
The Aligning Health Needs and Evidence for Transformative Change: 听was approved in 2018 and based in the 黄色直播 School of Nursing. The Centre of Excellence up is a member of the International Joanna Briggs Collaboration, based at the University of Adelaide (Australia).听 Using Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) methodologies and methods, 黄色直播 faculty, students, and stakeholders will contribute to the transformation of healthcare in Atlantic Canada. Transformation means different models for thinking, planning, acting, and evaluating, based on the best possible available evidence. We are conducting systematic review research to look at health and wellness through a different, collaborative lens and exploring different models for service delivery based on a combination of what people need and on synthesis of the evidence.
