Jacqueline Gahagan, Principal InvestigatorJacqueline Gahagan is a Full Professor of Health Promotion and Head of the Health Promotion Division in the School of Health and Human Performance in the Faculty of Health Professions at »ÆÉ«Ö±²¥. Jacqueline also holds cross appointments in Community Health and Epidemiology, International Development Studies, Gender Studies, Occupational Therapy, Nursing and is an Affiliate Member of the European Union Centre for Excellence, the Health Law Institute at »ÆÉ«Ö±²¥, the Atlantic Health Promotion Research Centre and the Beatrice Hunter Cancer Research Institute. |

Rachel Moore, Research AssistantRachel Moore is a second-year MLIS student with »ÆÉ«Ö±²¥â€™s School of Information Management. She received her bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Gender and Women’s Studies from the University of King’s College in 2017. Rachel has a professional interest in museums and archives, and is particularly passionate about their role in protecting and providing access to our shared cultural heritage. In addition to working at the LGBT Seniors Archive, Rachel serves as Co-Chair for the Information Without Borders student-led conference. |

The Community Advisory CommitteeThe project is advised and guided by an independent diverse team from Nova Scotia's LGBT community which meets as necessary to make decisions and discuss issues about, and do volunteer work with the archives. |
