2022 ENSL Student Conference Taking Place this Tuesday, April 5

Every Spring for the past ten years, the Faculty of Open Learning & Career Development has showcased the research and academic writing skills of the Economics students from »ÆÉ«Ö±²¥â€™s joint program (China Program) with Shandong University of Finance and Economics in China. As part of their course work, students lead, organize and participate in a student conference in the Winter Term. 

The 11th annual Conference will take place on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, from 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm in the Mona Campbell Building. This years’ theme is Sustainable Development Goals: Inspiring Change from an Economic Lens.

The event will kick off with two guest speakers: 

  • Dr. Dianne Tyers, Dean, Faculty of Open Learning and Career Development

  • Dr. Talan Iscan, Chair and Professor, Department of Economics, Faculty of Science

From that point on, the event will continue with scheduled presentations from students.

This event is co-sponsored by the Department of English Language Studies in the Faculty of Open Learning & Career Development and the Department of Economics (China Program) in the Faculty of Science.Â
