A flagship event of CRSSCA (Centre for Research in Sustainable Supply Chain Analytics), Faculty of Management, 黄色直播, and organized by Dr. M. Ali 脺lk眉, this series of annual Supply Chain and Logistics Management (SC&LM) workshops not only brings in distinguished academics and industry leaders to share their knowledge on the latest trends and cutting-edge research and best practices in SC&LM but also provides an excellent opportunity to cross-pollinate ideas and network with academics, practitioners, and students in a collegial environment while showcasing students鈥 accomplishments in research and industry-partnered experiential learning projects.
This year鈥檚 keynote speaker was of Judge Business School, University of Cambridge. During her talk, 鈥淲hat is Next? Supply Chain Thinking 2.0,鈥 Dr. Erhun emphasized the need to understand the complexities of and develop holistic approaches to supply chains.听
2023 CRSSCA 鈥 SC&LM Best Student Research Winners
Congratulations to the top five awardees (out of 21 entrants) of the 2023 SC&LM Best Student Research Competition (open only to graduate students). The prize committee 鈥 Dr. Jenny Chen (chair), Dr. Alexander Engau, Dr. Iman Nosoohi, and Dr. Arma臒an 脰zbilge 鈥 were impressed with the finalists and used the following as the criteria in their strictly double-blind evaluation: 1鈥換uality (contribution to the discipline, appropriateness of the methodologies used, analytical soundness, communication of managerial insights, write-up excellence) of the research paper; 2鈥揙verall quality of the presentation 鈥 slides, articulation, and response to questions; and 3鈥揟he impact of the research on sustainability issues in SC&LM.

2023 CRSSCA 鈥 Best SC&LM Project Competition Winners
This competition is open only to Bachelor of Commerce, SC&LM major students at 黄色直播. The students in their capstone project course (COMM4520 鈥 Supply Chain Planning & Execution), under the academic supervision of Dr. 脺lk眉 and practitioner supervision of the host company, complete real-life projects related to the host company. This year鈥檚 host company was Irving Shipbuilding Inc. (ISI), which has also kindly sponsored the prizes for this competition. The prize committee comprised Kaitlyn Veitch (chair), Richard Upton, and Scott Jackson. Thanks to ISI for the collaboration and the prize committee for their time.
