New Employee Orientation

»ÆÉ«Ö±²¥ regularly holds voluntaryÌýNew EmployeeÌýorientation sessionsÌýmonthly, except in December. All new employees (faculty, staff, grant-paid, Post-Doctoral Fellows and temporary employees) are encouraged to attend.

  • The session provides an opportunity to become more familiar with »ÆÉ«Ö±²¥ as well as to meet other employees, new and experienced.Ìý
  • Guest speakers from various departments will share valuable and timely information relevant to your first few months at »ÆÉ«Ö±²¥.
  • You will also be provided information on the numerous opportunities and services available to you as a member of the »ÆÉ«Ö±²¥ community.Ìý

Academic Staff Orientation

Complementary to the general New Employee Orientation session, the Centre for Learning and Teaching (CLT) hosts a New Academic Staff OrientationÌýevery August toÌýwelcomeÌýnew colleagues to theÌýacademic community.

  • The Orientation is designed to introduce you to the resources, services and people available to help you get off to a strong start in your academic roles.Ìý
  • Academic staff who have joined »ÆÉ«Ö±²¥ during the past year are invited to meet other new colleagues and to discuss strategies and resources to support your academic work.Ìý
  • °ä´Ç²Ô³Ù²¹³¦³ÙÌý³Ù³ó±ð Centre for Learning and TeachingÌýwith any questions.​

Note:ÌýIt is recommended that new faculty attend both the Academic Staff Orientation andÌýNew Employee OrientationÌýas the sessions cover different content.Ìý
