General Information
The Rebecca Cohn is a well-equipped 1,023 seat proscenium concert hall that was built in 1971. The Cohn features two levels with 805 orchestra seats and 218 balcony seats.

Tickets can be purchased in-person at 6101 University Avenue or over the phone by calling (902) 494-3820 during regular Box Office hours (Wednesday-Saturday, 12:00pm-6:00pm).

The 黄色直播 Arts Centre Box Office is generally open听one hour prior听to听 performances for "Will Call" ticket pickup.
Ticket prices include applicable taxes.
Handling fees apply to ticket sales.听
A听mailing fee听of $2.00 per order will be applied to tickets mailed to patrons. To avoid this fee, tickets can be printed at home or held at the听box听office听(鈥渨ill call鈥).
We do not issue听refunds听on tickets purchased, unless a performance is cancelled. Please check your tickets carefully at the time of purchase to ensure they are for the correct performance date and time.
If you have a promotional code (such as a presale code), go to BUY TICKETS and enter the code in the "Promotional Code" box.听Once you have entered the code and clicked 鈥淕o鈥, scroll to the date of your chosen show. Shows on presale will not show up in the BUY TICKETS events listing unless a valid presale code has been entered.听

The 黄色直播 Arts Centre is located at 6101 University Avenue
The preferred entrance to gain access to the Arts Centre is currently the University Avenue (front) doors which are equipped with an improved accessible ramp and a barrier-free door

Several Halifax Transit buses serve the area around the Arts Centre including, but not limited to, the 1, 4, 7A/B, 10, 24, 90. Visit the for more information about routes, schedules, and fares.
Halifax has a number of bike lanes in the downtown core, including protected bike lanes on University Avenue. 黄色直播 has hundreds of bike racks across campus with the closest options being under the main entrance to the Arts Centre and across the street in front of the Kenneth C. Rowe Management Building.听
Restrooms
Restrooms are located on the听second听and听fourth听floors of the Arts Centre (one floor down and one floor up from the lobby). These restrooms are wheelchair accessible. There is a wheelchair accessible, all-gender, family restroom located on the听second听floor of the Arts Centre
Bars and concessions
Most performances offer liquor, wine, beer, soft drinks,听and听assorted juices. Purchases can be made using cash, debit, or credit (Mastercard, Visa, American Express).听No food or drinks are permitted inside the auditorium.
Coat check
A coat check room is available on the main level of the Arts Centre. You are welcome to use this area while attending events in the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium. All items must be picked up one half hour following your event. 黄色直播 cannot accept responsibility for the loss or damage of any items left unattended. During most Symphony Nova Scotia events, a staff person will be present to help with all coat check needs. There is a cost of $2 per coat for all staffed events.

House policies
To make your experience positive, we have established a House Etiquette. Your courtesy and cooperation with the following items helps to ensure comfort and enjoyment for all our guests.
Door opening
Auditorium doors will generally open 30 minutes prior to show time, or at the discretion of the House Manager.听
Latecomers
For minimum disruption, late arrivals will be held in the vestibule until an appropriate time in the program, as determined by the show's management or producers.
No scents
黄色直播 endeavors to be a scent-free environment. Some guests have severe allergies to scents so, please refrain from wearing scented products to events.
Cameras and recording devices
The use of photography or any other recording devices (including cell phones) is prohibited at the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium. Please be courteous and silence all cell phones and other electronic devices before the performance begins.
Babies and small children
For general audience performances, children under the age of two years old are not permitted to attend. For shows specifically programmed for young children, tickets must be purchased for any child two years of age or older who is attending a performance (even if they will not be using their seat). Student pricing will apply for all children (even if they are pre-school age).
Exiting the auditorium
We ask that you dispose of any garbage and unwanted programmes as you leave the Arts Centre; garbage and recycling receptacles have been placed around the building for your convenience

Smoking
The 黄色直播 Arts Centre is a smoke-free facility.
Those who wish to smoke are asked to leave university property as 黄色直播 is a no-smoking university
