The Marine Affairs Program offers the Master of Marine Management degree to students with a strong academic record who are planning a career path in marine affairs and have an interest in climate change, public and private sector management, conservation science, planning, public service, engineering, community organizing or public policy. The interdisciplinary nature of the MMM degree puts a high premium on diversity within the student body. Applications are routinely received from individuals with backgrounds in science, law, humanities and the social sciences producing an environment in which cross-fertilization is the norm, ultimately producing considerable breadth among our graduates. Research

The principal form of student research occurs under the rubric of the Graduate Project, representing the culmination of the student learning experience. Students demonstrate their abilities to synthesize and organize complex information, while critically examining coastal/ocean management issues leading to the advancement of a case for appropriate responses.
