POSITION: Part-time Academic (ASSC 3150, Fall 2019/20)
DEPARTMENT/LOCATION:Ìý Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences (CIC)
PAY RATE:Ìý As per CUPE Collective Agreement

WORK ASSIGNMENT:Ìý A part-time academic is required to teach ASSC 3150.03, Intercultural Communication 1, in the 2019/20 fall term (September to December 2019, on Thursdays from 14:35-17:25). The part-time academic is responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, test preparation, and evaluation. This position reports to the coordinator of the Certificate in Intercultural Communication (CIC).

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:Ìý Candidates must possess a Master's degree in an appropriate field, plus previous university teaching experience. Lived cultural experience and evidence of intercultural sensitivity, familiarity with current research in intercultural communication preferred.
