The Faculty of Agriculture, »ÆÉ«Ö±²¥ is a small research-intensive campus located in Truro, NS. Offering technical, undergraduate and graduate programs in agriculture, environment and related life and social science disciplines, the Faculty of Agriculture educates future leaders and generates knowledge and innovative solutions for healthy, sustainable societies.
Key Responsibilities:
·        Coordinate, develop course modules,
·        Teach online courses
·        Conduct summer school relating to the Master Gardener Program.
·        Responsible for all aspects of coordinating the program, developing course modules, communicating with students online, teaching online courses and test preparation and evaluation; and organizing summer school.Â
·        This position works collaboratively with the Instructors in Horticulture, Manager Botanical Garden Unit and Extended Learning.
·        The position reports to the Chair of the Department.
Qualifications:
At least one year experience in teaching in a postsecondary educational institution, Excellent oral, written communication skills, collegiality and interpersonal skills. Online teaching experience is critical. A Masters degree with two year experience in Landscape Horticulture.
