The Angela Davis Building Belonging Gathering
November 20th, 2018
9 -11 am, Council Chambers (Student Union Building)
Register:
This rescheduled event provides the opportunity for the campus community to respond to Angela Davis’ astounding forum.
Campus leaders will guide us through reflecting and expanding upon legendary U.S. civil rights leader’s forum talk: Angela Davis, and the audience members who asked questions, gave us a great deal to reflect upon and discuss with one another.
The gathering takes the shape of a conversation circle; one desired outcome is that leaders and participants will co-create action items, and apply these to our campus context.
Faculty, students, and staff are warmly invited to engage in this work together. Â
