Assistant, Associate or Full Professor of Information Systems

The Rowe School of Business (RSB) invites applications for a probationary tenure-track, tenure-track or tenured appointment in Information Systems at the rank of Assistant, Associate Professor or Full Professor (dependent upon qualifications and experience), commencing July, 1, 2019 (negotiable). Applicants must have a PhD in a discipline related to Information Systems. Evidence of teaching effectiveness and of strong research performance are required. Candidates must be able to meet the School’s accrediting body’s (AACSB) academic qualification requirements.

The Faculty of Management is developing a new Masters program in Digital Innovation jointly with the Faculty of Computer Science. Positions relating to this new program are being advertised in the Faculty of Computer Science, Rowe School of Business, and School of Information Management. It is an occasion to join a strong and diversified team, in an environment where new programs are being introduced. The successful applicant will be expected to engage in leading-edge research with faculty and students in information systems. Understanding of the IT innovation ecosystems would be an advantage. The successful applicant will teach courses in these areas at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and will contribute to the academic life of the School through committee service and other activities. Priority will be given to applicants with an appropriate record of research productivity and publications in peer-reviewed journals, and a good record of successful teaching and good course evaluations for their career stage. Practical experience and knowledge of experiential education are an asset.
