POSITION: Part-Time Academic
DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: International Development Studies
PAY RATE: As per CUPE Collective Agreement
WORK ASSIGNMENT: INTD 3101.03 Special Topics: Law and Development (on-line). The part time academic is responsible for all aspects of teaching, grading, and administration of the class. In addition, to be available for two hours per week outside of class times for student consultation. These classes will be offered from May 28th to June 22nd. This is an on-line class. The part-time academic reports to the Chair of the department.
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Ph.D. in International Development Studies or closely related field and/or Master of Laws. Experience and expertise in the field of “law and development.” Previous teaching experience including on-line teaching experience preferred.

WORK ASSIGNMENT: INTD 4322.03 Special Topics: Children and War held in conjunction with INTD 5004.03. Special Topics: Children and War. The class is also held in conjunction with POLI 3810.03 and POLI 5602.02. The part time academic is responsible for all aspects of teaching, grading, and administration of the class. In addition, to be available for two hours per week outside of class times for student consultation. The class will be offered from July 3rd to July 13th. The class is taught Monday through Friday from 13:05-16:55. The part-time academic reports to the Chair of the department.
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Ph.D. in International Development Studies or closely related field. Experience and expertise on the impact of war on children. Previous teaching experience preferred.
