PART-TIME ACADEMIC POSTING

POSITION: Part-Time Academic for ERTH 1080.03 – Geology I, lab sections for the fall term of 2017/2018. The course runs from September 5th to December 5th, 2017. Please see academic timetable at dal.ca for current course days, times, and locations.

DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: Department of Earth Sciences, Halifax Campus

PAY RATE: In accordance with CUPE Agreement Local 3912

WORK ASSIGNMENT: The instructor will be responsible for the delivery of the lab component of the course, for holding office hours and for evaluation of students. Detailed course description is available in the Undergraduate Calendar (dal.ca). The lab instructor will work closely with the first year co-ordinator during planning, development, and delivery of the course.


REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Graduate degree in Geology or Earth Sciences with relevant expertise and teaching experience.
