POSITION:Ìý Teaching Assistant (45 hours)
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Breast Cancer IPHE Mini Course, IPHE 4900 - fall term 2014

DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: School of Health Sciences

PAY RATE: In accordance with CUPE Collective Agreement

WORK ASSIGNMENT:Ìý The Teaching Assistant will be responsible for working with the course professor to ensure that the course runs efficiently; assist in web design and logistics; monitorÌý discussion posts and keep track of student posts; responsible to mark student reflection papers according to the guidelines outlined by IPHE 4900. Marks will be shared between the teaching assistant and the course lead.Ìý The Teaching Assistant reports to the course lead.Ìý This IPHE mini-course runs from October 15-October 31, 2014.

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Individuals interested in applying for this position should have outstanding organizational and communication skills, should work well with others and be self-motivated independent workers.Ìý The successful applicant will be familiar with online BBlearn format and IPHE 4900. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.Ìý Masters student is preferred but those with relevant undergraduate preparation and experience will be considered.
