POSITION: Teaching Assistants (2 positions)
DEPARTMENT: School of Social Work
PAY RATE: As per collective agreement
WORK ASSIGNMENT
#1. Teaching Assistant for Interprofessional Health Education (IPHE) from September 2014 to December 2014 for 90 hours.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
•   Maintaining accurate records of student completion through the BBL tracking system
•   Coordinating the logistics of on campus IPHE learning activities
•   Assisting with the logistics of online IPHE learning activities
•   Facilitating online discussion groups
•   Supervising students involved in the Health Mentors Program
•   And other related duties
#2. Teaching Assistant for Interprofessional Health Education (IPHE) from January 2015 to April 2015 for 90 hours.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
•   Maintaining accurate records of student completion through the BBL tracking system
•   Coordinating the logistics of on campus IPHE learning activities
•   Assisting with the logistics of online IPHE learning activities
•   Facilitating online discussion groups
•   Supervising students involved in the Health Mentors Program
•   And other related duties
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Enrolment in the Master of Social Work program and completion of an Undergraduate degree in Social Work. Applicants must have excellent communication skills, energy, and enthusiasm. Previous instructional and evaluation experience is also an asset. Applicants should be familiar with on-line course tools.
