Pay Rate: In accordance with the CUPE collective agreement
Work Assignment:
The Sessional Lecturer will be responsible for a half credit course in the area of Management in the Public Sector offered to undergraduate students in the Bachelor of Management program. The Instructor will be responsible for all aspects of the teaching and administration of the class and be available for two hours per week outside class times for student consultations. The candidate reports to the Director of the School.
Requirements of Position:
Preference will be given to applicants with a Ph.D or Ph.D candidates in a relevant field or applicants with at least a Masters Degree who hold or have recently held positions at the executive level within government departments.

DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: School of Public Administration

The Sessional Instructor will be responsible for a half credit course in the area of Applied Economics (PUAD 6235) offered to students in the second year of the Masters of Public Administration program. The Instructor will be responsible for all aspects of the teaching and administration of the class and be available for two hours per week outside class times for student consultations. The candidate reports to the Director of the School.
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:
Preference will be given to applicants with a PhD or PhD candidates or Senior public servant in the Public Sector with at least a relevant Masters Degree and with experience teaching Economics at the graduate or upper undergraduate level. Recent relevant public servant experience is an asset.
