WORK ASSIGNMENT:Ìý The part-time academic will be responsible for teaching NURS 4351.03F – Specialty Practice of Oncology Nursing during the Fall Term, 2013. Responsibilities include delivery of course content, holding office hours, and the evaluation of the students.

The course is designed to focus on the comprehensive care of a range of health and illness needs of individuals at risk or living with cancer within the existing infrastructure for cancer care. The course reflects a critical analysis of the existing theoretical and evidence-based perspectives influencing health related behaviours of health promotion, illness prevention and decision-making that span from individual to organizational levels

Classes are scheduled on Fridays 14:35 -16:25 hours, from September 5 – December 3, 2013. The Part-time Academic reports directly to the Associate Director, Undergraduate Studies.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: Candidates must hold a graduate degree in nursing, or related field, with relevant expertise and teaching experience. PhD preferred.
