The swimming team won both the men's and women's titles at the Kemp-Fry meet this weekend.

This weekend was full of hockey, volleyball, swimming, and basketball action for the Tigers. Highlights include the Tigers winning the Kemp-Fry Invitational swim meet right here at home, basketball guard Malcolm Christie breaking the record for most points scored in a game by 黄色直播, and the women鈥檚 hockey team defeating the Tommies in a shootout! Here鈥檚 a summary of everything you might have missed.

Men鈥檚 Hockey

The Tigers were shut down 5-1 by the Acadia Axemen on Wednesday. Goalie Nic Chenard stopped 35 shots, and Ryan Smith scored for the Tigers. Friday night鈥檚 match against the Huskies was much closer, with the score remaining tied 3-3 at the end of regulation. During overtime, the Huskies struck first taking the win 4-3.

Women鈥檚 Hockey

Wednesday night the women fired off 30 shots, resulting in goals from Emmerson Gormley and Olivia Eustace. The Huskies scored three on powerplays, and a fourth to win the game 4-2. Saturday the Tigers brought the heat against the St. Thomas Tommies. The score was an even 3-3 through regulation and overtime, forcing a shootout. Olivia Eustace earned the game-winner for the Tigers, taking home the win and player of the game.

Men鈥檚 Volleyball

The men faced Laval on Friday, and were bested 3-0. Michael Donovan led the Tiger鈥檚 effort with 7 kills and a team-high .227 hitting percentage. Saturday the Tigers got their chance at a re-match, but Laval come out on top 3 sets to 1. The Tiger鈥檚 Jacob Oyler led the team with 14 kills, 10 digs, and 17 points.

Women鈥檚 Volleyball

The Huskies came to the Dalplex Friday night to take on the Tigers. Despite a close first and third set, the Huskies took the game 3-0.

Men鈥檚 Basketball

Saturday night, the UNB Reds faced the Tigers at the Dalplex. The Tigers led going into the second half, but fell behind 90-79 in the end. Malcolm Christie scored a 黄色直播 record-breaking 51 points, tying fourth place for the most points scored in any AUS men鈥檚 basketball game!

Women鈥檚 Basketball

The Tigers put up 51 points against the Reds Saturday night, but it wasn鈥檛 enough. The Reds came out with a 93-51 win. Kaitlyn Ferrier led the Tigers with 23 points.

Swimming

The Tigers showed up to the Kemp-Fry Invitational ready to win. The women swept the 800m freestyle, with Reagan Crowell setting a new 黄色直播 record and beating her personal best. The Sparkes brothers Logan and Morgan finished first and second during the men鈥檚 1500m freestyle. The men and women both finished in first for the relays.

They continued to impress on Saturday, winning 6 individual races and the women鈥檚 relay. The Tigers stayed on top Sunday, starting off with Freddy Chandler-Baas and Isaac Bahler taking first and second in the 200m butterfly. The women swept the 200m IM, and Reagan Crowell set a new 黄色直播 record for the 400m free. The Sparkes brothers went first and second again in the 400m. The men won their relay, and both women鈥檚 and men鈥檚 teams finished by taking the titles.
