The 黄色直播 Libraries hosted the 37th annual International Association of University Libraries (IATUL) conference from June 5 to June 9. Librarians from universities across the globe attended, representing 11 countries and four continents. The theme of the conference was Library Leadership in a Sea of Change.

Three 黄色直播 librarians, including University Librarian Donna Bourne-Tyson, spoke at the conference, which was hosted in the CHEB. In addition, Sandra Toze, interim director, School of Information Management, gave a keynote address to the 120 attendees. Other keynote speakers included听 Joan Gallos from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Guy Berthiaume from Library and Archives Canada, and Ingrid Parent from the University of British Columbia.

Donna Bourne-Tyson was chair of the local arrangements committee and a member of the programme committee. University Librarians and staff from the libraries at 黄色直播, Mount Saint Vincent University, Saint Mary鈥檚 University and the Nova Scotia Community College also made significant contributions on the local arrangements committee. The program committee included members of the IATUL board and senior librarians from Ryerson and McGill.

In addition to three days of sessions on topics such as data management, scholarly communications, assessment and information literacy, the delegates took a day trip to either the Annapolis Valley, the South Shore or Peggy鈥檚 Cove. The delegates greatly appreciated the opportunity to explore the natural beauty of Nova Scotia outside of the city.
