I fell in love with the school during my visit in March and could not believe how welcome I was made to feel by my future teammates and the coaching staff. I can’t wait to embark on this next phase of my life and I am up for the challenge of CIS volleyball.”
An honour roll student since grade nine, Ciprick is from Binscarth, Manitoba and has been accepted to ɫֱ’s kinesiology program.
“We are very excited to add Emma to our team,” says Scott. “Emma is a hardworking, committed and highly-motivated athlete. She is very athletic and has been a part of an excellent Neelin High School program and Storm volleyball club, which are two of the best programs in the country. I believe these qualities and experience will help her with the transition to the university level and be a key part of our team in the years ahead.”
The Tigers won their second consecutive AUS championship last season and placed fourth at the CIS championship in February. It was the first time an AUS school had appeared in a CIS women’s volleyball semifinal since the Tigers claimed silver in 1984.
