Dr. Mary Brooks, William. A. Black Chair in Commerce and Professor in the School of Business Administration, has been designated by the Women's Executive Network (WXN) as one of the Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada.聽
Dr. Brooks teaches and conducts research in the areas of transportation management and policy (particularly for maritime industries), export strategy and international strategic management. Among her many accomplishments, she was a 2005 Canada-US Fulbright Scholar at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia and she received the 2005-06 A. Gordon Archibald Award for Teaching Excellence in the School of Business Administration.

The fourth annual 2006 Canada脮s Most Powerful Women: Top 100陋 was held on Tuesday, November 21 at the Toronto at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. The WXN Top 100 Awards is a symbol of the success women have attained and represents a unique array of proven achievers from many walks of life.
