Research Interests

Dasog lab research group focuses on the development of photocatalysts, electrocatalysts, porous nanomaterials, and plasmonic nanostructures using solid-state methods. We study the reaction mechanisms and the influence of reaction parameters on product formation during solid-state syntheses to better engineer the nanomaterials for their intended applications. The synthesized nanomaterials are used for chemical fuel production (hydrogen), solar-driven desalination, water treatment, and sensing.
