On February 24, students from the Public Administration Student Society (PASS) participated in The Coldest Night of the Year, an annual campaign where teams across Canada walk to raise funds for community groups. The students raised a total of $1,030 for ARK, a聽centre聽for homeless youth in Halifax.聽聽
"As future public servants, students of the MPA should be dedicated to making the world a better place," says PASS president Lauren Kolar, adding that she hopes this year's聽walk inspires future students. "We took on the CNOY campaign to support and uplift marginalized communities and to set a precedent for future community engagement initiatives."
