Fall Convocation Reception

On Tuesday, October 22nd, following the Fall Convocation ceremony, the Faculty of Computer Science would like to extend an invitation, to all graduating students taking part in this convocation, to a special Convocation reception. The event will take place in the Atrium of the Goldberg Computer Science Building.

We want to take this opportunity to celebrate the achievement of our graduating class and share this moment with family, fellow graduates, and members of the faculty. It is a chance to come together to connect and celebrate this joyous occasion.

This event is only open to CS graduating students that are part of the Fall Convocation ceremony on this day, their family members and faculty members.

ShiftKey Lounge is a collaborative project with the Faculty of Computer Science to introduce new students to all the amazing things they can do with a Computer Science education. This informal drop-in session will take place every Wednesday from October 2, 2024 until November 13, 2024.In each of these sessions, you’ll get to meet upper-year students, recent graduates, industry professionals, and advisors to help you get the tools you need to learn more about what you are most passionate about. Learn about important resources and events, what it is like to work in different fields, and ask all your curious questions at ShiftKey Lounge.

Food will be provided at each drop-in session. Registration is not required.

Academy Up: Data Analytics with Python Certification (2/4)

Excited to share that we’re launching a new certification program in Data Analytics and Python this October and November! Led by Sahil Chawla, this program offers you the chance to learn the basics of Python and get hands-on experience.

This free certification program is offered through ShiftKey Academy Up, generously supported by Cognizant.
