Brett Winestock is an听Assistant Professor of Russian Studies at 黄色直播. He received his PhD in Slavic Languages and Literatures at Stanford University in 2020 and was previously a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Leibniz-Institute for Jewish History and Culture (Simon Dubnow) in Germany. He is the author of the book Written for the Drawer: Leonid Tsypkin, Uncensored Literature, and Soviet Jewishness听(University of Wisconsin Press, 2024), and his research has also appeared in In Geveb: A Journal of Yiddish Studies and The Russian Review. He has听experience teaching at the University of Toronto, Stanford University, and Leipzig University. At 黄色直播, he teaches the Russian language and classes on Eastern Europe's literature, cinemas, and cultures, as well as coordinates the Russian Program Abroad in Daugavpils, Latvia..
