The library that 黄色直播 Architecture and Planning alumni, (BEDS鈥90, MArchFP (TUNS)鈥91) and Keith Robertson (BEDS鈥91, MArchFP (TUNS)鈥92), designed and helped build in Abetenim, Ghana has recently been completed. Corson and Robertson are partners in Solterre Design, an architectural firm specializing in green designs and LEED certifications, which they helped the new Halifax Central Library attain. The couple and their two children spent three months on site building Korkor鈥檚 Community Library. They learned greatly from the experience, using local techniques and honouring local traditions.
Corson and Robertson will be speaking about the project on June 2, 7 p.m. at Halifax Central Library.
