Meet your Life Executive for the Class of 2021.聽 Life President Robert Larsen, Valedictorian Leah Hocquard and Life Secretary Hannah Squires-Bavis.
Life President
The Life President is the main representative of the Class who will work with other life officers and the Faculty of Agriculture Alumni Association to ensure the interests of the Class are being observed in the matters of finance publicity, reunions and fundraising.
Robert is from Prince Edward Island and with his degree in Agricultural Business, plans to continue to work with his parents, Lorne and Brenda, and younger brother Justin, a second year Plant Science Diploma student at the AC, on their beef feedlot. He also operates a custom Agri-services business, Norring Road Custom, owned by his family.
鈥淒uring our time at the AC, we have all had the chance to network with professors and experts in the industry and have developed strong relationships with peers who will be at the forefront of the agriculture industry in the years ahead,鈥 said Robert.聽 鈥淚n this way, we will all be connected to the AC community for the rest of our lives.鈥
Life Secretary
Life Secretary will provide the link between the Class and the Faculty of Agriculture Alumni Association. They will handle correspondence with the Class executive and coordinate the mechanics of the Class mailing list for special class events and alumni gatherings.
Hannah is from Newfoundland and completed her B.Sc (honours) in Bio Veterinary science with a certificate in genetics and molecular biology
She chose the AC as she hopes to go to vet school, and work in an animal-related field

Valedictorian
The valedictorian is given the honor of representing all graduating students to the Faculty of Agriculture and the community during convocation ceremonies through the delivery of an address.
Leah comes from a small town in southern NB studying Animal Science (Major), Aquaculture (Minor), certificate in animal welfare, and has a certificate in business from Guelph.聽
Leah grew up playing high level soccer and was team member and captain of the AC women鈥檚 varsity soccer team. She was involved in clubs and councils and made forever friendships and great memories to cherish.聽
鈥淭he best thing about Faculty of Ag is the sense of community, work that matters and learning and working in an essential industry.鈥
