Erin MacCallum and Marcel Falkenham met at Dal AC in 1994 when he interrupted with all the answers to the test she was studying for with a friend at the Snack Stop under the stairs in Cox Instutitute.
Their first date was the fall semi-formal. They were married in 1999 and are raising four girls. When the AC brought about the barley bands, they replaced their wedding bands with them and they are inscribed with the date of their first date.
It has been 26 years and they are still going strong and are looking forward to continuing their love story in the next chapter of their life.Â
Erin divides her time between working as a senior R&D technologist for a medical diagnostic company in Windsor, NS called Biomedica Diagnostics and as a photographer.
Marcel is an engineer and currently is the Director of Facilities for Acadia University. Together they also raise and breed a small flock of polled dorset sheep on their farm in their"spare time".
