Woodsmen (Nov. 2 Sir Sanford Fleming Competition)
At this past weekend鈥檚 UNB Woodsmen Competition the DAL AC Men鈥檚 and Women鈥檚 A teams once again set the pace with first place victories. The Women鈥檚 and Men鈥檚 B Teams also had a strong showing placing fourth. Woodsmen athletes who went above and beyond this weekend representing their school with pride are Nellie Wood and Thian Carman.

Cross Country: Nov. 2 ACAA Championships (Hosted by Holland College)
The ACAA Cross Country Championships had nearly perfect running conditions Saturday at the ski lodge in Brookvale, PEI.听 DAL AC had a strong showing in both the women鈥檚 and men鈥檚 races.
For the women鈥檚 side, Chloe Toombs was able to move into 3rd place only 19 seconds behind the 1st place finisher, earning her a spot on the All Conference team.听 Other Dal AC runners were Kim Conrad, coming in 9th, Elise Lawerence 14th, Jillian Shaw and Madison Baillie running in together for 18 and 19, and Keeryung Kwun picking up 25th, even after a fall she was able to pick herself back up and finish in the middle of the pack.听 The women鈥檚 team achieved the overall 3rd place for the ACAA.听 听
On the men鈥檚 side, Kieran Thornell continued his gazelle-like dominance, winning the race and bringing home ACAA Cross Country Men鈥檚 Athlete of the year.听 His impressive finish was 1:29 ahead of the 2nd place runner, even with the mud and slippery grass hills on the course.听 The men鈥檚 team won silver overall, with James Van De Sande and Ranthom Ndizihiwe coming in side by side at 8th and 9th place, followed by Jonathan Smith with an impressive push at the end for 12th, and Andrei David finishing at 19th. 听
The Dal AC Cross Country athletes 鈥渓eft it on the trail鈥 as they were coached to do and can鈥檛 wait to train hard for next season.
Equestrian 鈥 Nov. 3 鈥 Dal AC Show
DAL AC wins the Grand Champion team award at their home event hosted at Todd Hill Farm!听Team Dal AC finished another strong showing in the听Atlantic Intercollegiate Equestrian League on a beautiful sunny day down in Aylesford. 听

Individual reserve champion high point rider of the day - Chloe Foye! Today was not the first time Chloe was one the two top riders in the league at a competition! It is a pleasure to watch Chloe in the saddle, she is adapting to catch riding very well. Congratulations on a great performance!
Spirit award recognition - "Aggies once, Aggies twice, the Rams came here to ride 'em right!" From making up our cheers, to pep talks at the in gate Eve Godin is taking home our team spirit ribbon!
Women鈥檚 Volleyball
November 1 鈥 Mount A vs DAL AC
Dal AC faced a tough test in their first regular season game versus an experienced Mount A team. Despite a strong effort and a great crowd, the Mounties defeated the RAMS 3 sets to 0 (25-16, 26-24, 25-15). The second set was very entertaining to watch with Dal AC almost pulling off a comeback with some impressive serving and timely digs.
November 3 鈥 DAL AC vs Crandall
The RAMS bounced back with a solid performance vs Crandall in what was a one sided 25-14, 25-10, 25-13 win. A complete team effort capped off a busy first weekend with the RAMS set to host UKC (Nov. 8) and UNBSJ (Nov. 9) next weekend.

Chloe Toombs had a very strong race at the ACAA Championships placing a season best 3rd place only 19 seconds behind the 1st place finisher. This earned Chloe a spot on the All Conference team making her a runner to watch next season!
