The thermal plant at »ÆÉ«Ö±²¥â€™s Agricultural Campus has been in use for close to 28 years and is near the end of its useful life. The university is upgrading the current heating plant building with a new biomass power boiler and generator that will promote and support existing and new sustainable biomass supply. Aging steam lines are being replaced with new hot water lines.
