When "Teaching" Doesn't Teach

Creating a 鈥淪afe Space鈥 to Develop and Support Evidenced-Based Teaching

When and Where:聽March 15, Tuesday 聽-聽12-1:30pm Room Cobequid Room, 2nd Floor MacRae Library

Our current social and educational environment demands new and innovative learning experiences for students that are based on evidenced-based practice and institutional goals.聽 However, implementing an evidenced-based approach to teaching and learning requires more than just a 鈥榞reat idea鈥. This approach sometimes referred to, as the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), will be discussed. The CLT offers a multi-tier approach to provide funding for teachers to develop SoTL projects. Innovative approaches and opportunities will be presented.
