That is why »ÆÉ«Ö±²¥ Faculty of Agriculture is supporting National Kale Day Canada (NKDC),October 2, 2013 -Ìý a fun day of action celebrating kale’sÌýhealth benefits and culinary versatility, applauding local kale producers and promoting the eating,Ìýgrowing and sharing of kale.

NKDC is a part of a larger movement that is bringing together farmers, healthcare professionals, educators, chefs and others to officially declare October 2 National Kale Day.

The NKDC team at »ÆÉ«Ö±²¥ invites you to join in the celebrations and attend a National Kale Day event or to encourage you to host your own kale party (kaleigh) or potluck on October 2! Students, faculty and community members at the Agricultural Campus are invited to Kaleighs at the Truro Farmers’ Market and the Dal AC Barn on the evening of October 2.
