Mitacs announced there are a limited number of spots remaining for projects submitted through the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. To ensure ongoing projects are considered, please work with Aishwarya Mohan (amohan@mitacs.ca) to submit them as soon as possible, as this offer will close, once we reach capacity.

2. GRA Thematic Call: Save the Date

Mitacs is pleased to announce that applications for the Globalink Research Award (GRA) thematic call will open on September 12, 2024. The deadline to apply is November 20, 2024. The website link will be shared on the call launch date along with the details for applying.

The themes for this year’s call are:

• Digital and Emerging technology (e.g. AI, Advanced Computing, Cybersecurity, Semiconductors)
• Sustainability and Net Zero (e.g. Electric Vehicles, Critical Minerals, Hydrogen, Energy Transition, Oceans, Clean Technology)
• Life Sciences (e.g. Biomanufacturing, Bioeconomy, Agri-Food, Agri-Tech, Health Sciences)
• Humanities and Social Innovation (open category)
