» Go to news mainNSERC PromoScience ‑‑ Call for Applications
NSERC invites applications for initiatives that promote the natural sciences and engineering (NSE) to Canada's young people, particularly to under-represented groups in NSE careers. PromoScience encourages a wide variety of organizations to apply for funding to help young Canadians in elementary school and high school (including the equivalent first year of college in Quebec), and their teachers, to develop science and engineering skills and interests.ÌýActivities that will encourage Indigenous undergraduate students to pursue graduate studies in the NSE are also supported.
The maximum allowable request is $200,000 per year for 3 years.
Please note:
- NSERC Application Submission Deadline:ÌýSeptember 15, 2024, atÌý9:00 PM (Atlantic time); as this date falls on a weekend, submissions will be accepted until September 16, 2024.
- Internal ORS Application Submission Deadline:ÌýSeptember 2, 2024, atÌý4:30 PM (Atlantic time)
- Important Limitation: only one application may be submitted per department per competition year.
