The Alliance awards $240,000 to the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, Universit茅 de Montr茅al and Unity Health Toronto for Controlled Access Management for Research Data
The Alliance has awarded $240,000 to the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), Universit茅 de Montr茅al and Unity Health Toronto for the . This initiative forms part of the Alliance鈥檚 , and will benefit those who work with sensitive data by strengthening Canadian research security, supporting research discovery and preventing unnecessary data loss. The Alliance looks forward to working with CAMH, Universit茅 de Montr茅al, Unity Health Toronto and all CAM Partner Organizations to advance research data management and security.

The Alliance is accepting applications and nominations for our Researcher Council. This is a unique opportunity for researchers from across Canada to make a valuable impact on the DRI ecosystem in Canada. The Researcher Council is a key part of the Alliance, providing input and guidance on the $228.3 million investment from ISED for DRI initiatives that will directly benefit Canada鈥檚 researchers.
Application period: May 1, 2024, to June 12, 2024 *New deadline*
Term: Up to three years, beginning October 1, 2024

Call for participation: Lunaris User Community Group
Lunaris is seeking new members for a . Anyone who uses or has an interest in Lunaris to discover or facilitate the reuse of research data in Canada is encouraged to participate. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss data sharing and reuse with other professionals, provide feedback on the state of the service, participate in user experience studies and influence the development of Lunaris. If you are interested in participating, please join the . This is an open-ended call, and the group will continue to accept new members.
