Quality Improvement Grants to improve the early suspicion, identification, and the management of patients with ATTR-CM
This competitive grant program seeks to support quality Improvement (QI) initiatives to increase the capacity of the health care system to provide more timely suspicion, identification and diagnosis, and appropriate treatment for ATTR-CM patients.
Project Types and Area of Interest Pfizer is interested in receiving proposals that:
- Improve the capabilities for disease suspicion and identification.
- Reduce the time to correct diagnosis, among a broad audience of health care professionals, including increasing coordination across specialties.
- Improve the patient’s holistic management.
- Adapt international best practices to Canadian context for improved patients’ outcomes
Advancing The Use of Oral Anticoagulants in Atrial Fibrillation and Venous Thromboembolism
This competitive grant program intends to encourage organizations to submit grant applications for independent education designed to enhance understanding of the oral anticoagulant treatment of patients with atrial fibrillation and/or venous thromboembolism. Grant proposals should leverage innovative data and content delivery mechanisms including an omnichannel approach.
Projects that will be considered for support will focus on advancing the use of oral anticoagulants (OACs) by addressing knowledge gaps in the following areas. Grant proposals can address either management in Atrial Fibrillation (AF), Venous Thromboembolism (VTE) or both areas.
