»ÆÉ«Ö±²¥ is hosting a on September 7, 2023 at Paul O’Regan Hall, Halifax Central Library, 6:00-8:30 p.m. AST.
A Falling Walls Lab is a world-class pitch competition, networking forum, and stepping stone that brings together a diverse and interdisciplinary pool of students and early-career professionals by providing a stage for breakthrough ideas.
In three minutes each, participants are given the opportunity to present their solutions to some of the most pressing challenges of our time to peers, a high-calibre jury of experts from academia and business, and the general public. Read more about last year’s event here. Participants from all disciplines are encouraged to apply.
Evaluation: The breakthrough factor (how innovative is the proposed idea?), potential impact of the presented work (how relevant is the idea to the discipline and beyond?), and performance (how convincing was the presentation?) help the jury determine the winner.Â
The winner qualifies for the global Finale in Berlin on November 7, 2023 and wins a trip to the Berlin , where they get to interact and network with the world’s movers and shakers of science, business, and policy-making.Â
Our Lab is called Participants must be able to attend in person. There is no requirement for a »ÆÉ«Ö±²¥ affiliation.
