The Transition Accelerator,听a听pan-Canadian registered charity focused on reaching net-zero while solving other societal challenges, is looking to collaborate with听researchers across the country interested in developing transformational pathways to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions. To achieve this, the charity has launched a research funding opportunity, and will be awarding successful applicants with small grants to support net-zero pathway scoping studies.

- Seeking submissions for projects that can help define credible, compelling, and capable pathways to net-zero across Canada. These projects should be anchored in The Transition Accelerator鈥檚 pathways methodology as outlined in the听
听 - Up to three proposals will be selected and awarded a maximum of $20,000 each. These scoping studies are an entry point to potential long-term collaboration with the Transition Accelerator to fully develop novel pathways.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be affiliated with a Canadian university, research institution or think tank.听Applications may involve investigators at more than one institution.
