Multiple calls are now open through the Bill and Melinda Gates Global Grand Challenges. The Grand Challenges initiative aims to focus innovation on targeted problems.
Canadian researchers can partner on projects in the following areas, but they must be led by PIs from eligible regions:
The solutions and the majority of the funding for these projects must be located in Sub-Saharan Africa.
