The (ALI) is seeking proposals for research that can assist decision makers to minimize and mitigate environmental risk and promote more resilient settlement and land use policy in Alberta.ÌýÌý
Research proposals are being accepted in theÌýLand Use, Resilience, and Environmental RiskÌýresearch area,Ìýparticularly focusing on information and education, regulation and policy, and risk-sharing. Proposals featuring an interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary approach are welcome.Ìý
Governmental Policy Options and the Regulatory EnvironmentÌý- $50,000 for a one-year project. Funding for further research may be available in subsequent years depending on the potential policy implications and the proposed approach.ÌýÌýÌý
Applicants (i.e., Principal Investigators) must be eligible to apply for Tri-Council funding (i.e. CIHR, NSERC, SSHRC) through their respective academic institution.ÌýÌý
