CCS funds research, provides services to those living with cancer, advocates on important cancer-related issues and educates and empower people to make healthy choices.
CCS is now accepting applications for the following grant programs:
Innovation Grants support the highest quality creative problem solving in cancer research. The goal of the Innovation program is to support the development and testing of unconventional concepts and approaches to address problems in cancer research, enhance our understanding of cancer, and generate new approaches to confront the challenges we face in defeating cancer.
Budgets awarded may be up to $100,000 per year and a maximum of $200,000 per grant.
It is anticipated that approximately 22 grants will be awarded in this competition.
These grants are intended to support the further development of significant findings based on the goals originally explored through a funded CCS Innovation Grant. All applications must include details of the significant achievements from the previous grant, specifics on how the proposed work is a logical progression that builds on the previous grant, and the potential of the work to impact cancer.
Budgets awarded may be up to $150,000 per year for up to 3 years, to a maximum of $450,000 per grant.
It is anticipated that approximately 12 grants will be awarded in this competition.
Internal Deadline: January 3, 2019
Agency Deadline: January 15, 2019
