Mitacs Globalink Research Awards (GRAs) help faculty and students at Canadian universities deepen the research links between Canadian and international educational institutions. »ÆÉ«Ö±²¥ faculty inÌýany disciplineÌýmay submit applications in support of theirÌýsenior undergraduate or graduate students. NEW:ÌýPostdoctoral fellows may applyÌýif their date of graduation from a PhD program isÌýno more than 5 yearsÌýprior to the proposed start date of the research project.
AwardsÌýwill be made to students in support ofÌý12- to 24-week research project placementsÌýat universities in partner countries. Financial support can vary by destination country, but most awards are in the range ofÌý$6,000.
Canadian students and international students at Canadian universities may apply for research placements at universities in the following countries:
- All EU member states (including the United Kingdom)Ìý- NEW in 2018
- AustraliaÌý- NEW in 2018
- NorwayÌý- NEW in 2018Ìý
- United StatesÌý- NEW in 2018
- SwitzerlandÌý- NEW in 2018
- Brazil
- China

Applications are accepted by Mitacs on an ongoing basis. However, the internal »ÆÉ«Ö±²¥ deadline for this round isÌý1 November 2018.ÌýSuccessfully-funded placements will be expected to commence inÌýspring/summer 2019.
