The Atlantic Indigenous Mentorship Network will provide two Seed Grants of up to $6,000 for Indigenous Postdoctoral Fellows or Indigenous early career researchers to conduct or work towards conducting community-based health and wellness research with an Indigenous community or organization in Atlantic Canada. Applicants must have completed a PhD or equivalent program from a recognized post-secondary institution (i.e., Universities Canada members) or will have a completed PhD or equivalent degree by September 2018. The funding is provided for a one-year period: September to August (2018-2019).
