The Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute currently has open competitions for its grants and awards.Ìý »ÆÉ«Ö±²¥ faculty may be particularly interested in the following opportunities:

• :Ìý Funding to support collaborative research initiatives between Indian and Canadian member institutions, entailing mobility as well as capacity building of scholars/researchers between India-Canada.Ìý Grants are in the amount of $5,000; work is expected to take place between November 2017 and May 2018. Deadline: 20 Sept. 2017.ÌýÌýÌý
• : Assists scholars to participate in conferences and academic meetings through travel subsidies; Canadians may travel to India, and vice versa.Ìý Grants of $1,000-$1,500 towards airfare are available. Deadline: 18 Sept. 2017.Ìý
  
• for members/academics of all disciplines from SICI’s Canadian and Indian Member Institutions. This program aims at capacity building of the faculty members as well as internationalization of curriculum/teaching methodologies in the participating institutions. Awards are valued at $5,000.Ìý Deadline: 21 Sept. 2017.ÌýÌý
