This is a reminder of the fast-approaching Early Stage Commercialization Fund (ESCF) program application deadline on February 3 (…that’s this Friday!).
If you’re a researcher engaged in information technology, life sciences, clean technology, ocean technology, or other technology development with market potential, this opportunity is for you!
Up to $50,000 in funding is available per project.
NEW: This round, we have three special streams of funding available in addition to our usual, sector-agnostic dollars. We are looking for SMART ENERGY (thanks to support from Nova Scotia Department of Energy), WASTE DIVERSION (thanks to support from Divert NS) and BIORESOURCE projects. Again, this is aside from our regular stream. All technology-focused projects are welcome!
Funds can be used to assess market potential, develop go-to-market strategies, perform strategic planning, create/update business plans, assist with intellectual property protection strategies, finish proof-of-concept development, build prototypes and leverage of other funds.

Please note that our Life Sciences Pre-Investment Program (LSPI) application deadline is also Feb. 3. Further details are available on our website.
