Scientific scope:Ìýresearch projects that investigate the underlyingÌýbiology of anorexia nervosa
´¡³¾´Ç³Ü²Ô³Ù/»å³Ü°ù²¹³Ù¾±´Ç²Ô:Ìýup to $750,000 over 3 yearsÌý

What we are looking for:
- Proposals thatÌýdirectly investigate the underlying biology of anorexia nervosa, and the questions of how and why it develops and persists
- Applications thatÌýbridge the gap between human and animal research
- Collaborative applications with deep engagement of both neuroscientists and clinical researchers
- Investigators who commit to share renewable reagents and data with other qualified investigatorsÌý
Who is eligible:
- Researchers who hold a faculty appointment at a nonprofit academic, medical or research institution in the United States,ÌýCanada or Israel
- Researchers with a strong track record in another field who can bring a new approach to anorexia nervosa researchÌý
- Faculty members aiming to establish careers in eating disorders researchÌý
Research topics NOT within the scientific scope of this program:
- Obesity
- Normal feeding behavior and/or negative energy balance
- Behavioral therapy
- Medical complications of eating disorders
- Clinical trials
- Sickness-induced anorexia or other types of anorexia distinct from the psychiatric disease anorexia nervosa
